October 6th – VA Hospital Carnival
This is a once a year event, where Veteran Organizations from all over come and spend the day with our Veterans that do not get to go out in the community and enjoy all of the things that we do. Its a fun easy day, come spend the day with Veterans, watch them enjoy the fun carnival games and displays, eat food, and enjoy the company of other Veterans. Last year we have just over 60 Vendor Tables set up, including DAV, VFW, Several different Auxiliary groups, Buffalo Soldiers, Rolling Thunder, We had miniature Ponies, Fire Trucks, HUMVEE’s, Horse and Carriage rides, TN State Mounted Patrol (the cops on Horseback).. 9/11 Memorial Fire Truck and the list goes on..
